Recently some lovely mugs arrived from Grasslands Road, a company that always impresses me with its quality ceramics. I've been ordering from them for about 3 or 4 years now, and I can't think of one thing that has ever came in broken, chipped, or flawed. One of the drawbacks of having a web store is that you can't pick up and touch something, to feel the quality or see how it feels in your hands. You're stuck just taking our word for it!
Well, for whatever it's worth, Grasslands Road makes some of the nicest ceramics we have in our store, and they are very giftable. Sometimes their mugs can get "lost" on the website, because they don't really fit in a category. I thought it might be fun to highlight a few of the recent arrivals.
Pink Survivor Mug:
A pretty pink mug with embossed accents, simply stating SURVIVOR with a tiny heart. I have found several nice Breast Cancer Awareness style things this year, and this mug is one of them. There is a white one too:
Ivory Survivor Mug:
This one is a bit more unisex, and could indicate a survivor of anything that resonates with you.
Speaking of surviving, we have some baby-themed items starting to trickle in, such as this New Daddy Mug:
We also have New Mommy, New Grandpa, and New Grandma!
Anything with the Serenity Prayer is always popular, and this mug is a beautiful example of the verse...
...it has the complete serenty text on the back side of the mug.
See all our Grasslands Road offerings HERE. We receive shipments all throughout the year, so there will always be more. They are a fairly seasonal company, and most patterns are not carried for more than about a year, so don't wait if you see something you love.
I don't know about you, but my morning cup of jo lingers in my hand a bit longer into the day than usual this time of year. There's something about a pretty mug that helps brighten up those deary days we can have here in Western Washingon...
